Missing my hairies...

I'm missing my boys right now...

And it's been really strange coming back to the same house I was in before, but with my girl no longer here with me. It's just over one year since she died and there are constant reminders in this place. But I'm determined to enjoy those memories, even if they still bring tears. I miss her fiercely and achingly..

I've been lucky though to have a daily visit from my next door neighbor, Bentley. I know I can't adopt any four-leggeds right now, with plans to leave again in the near future. But I'm hoping to foster dogs or perhaps even sign up for the Guide dog's first 6 mths puppy raising program. That's if I think I can live permanently in the house-training/chewing everything period!

you can play with our dog when we get back Gree. don't let yourself get lonely in your newly fabulous apartment. there are people who love you all through the city. and you'll be back with boy and cat before you know it. xxx

Thanks, I can't wait to meet Kato Jude - I really don't like being in an animal-free zone. You'll have to bring him round for cuddles. Just looked at the guide dog's site too - must live in Sydney area... pffft.

Hugs Greer!

Maybe you can get a puppy through ARF too?

You can get a puppy and we will get kittens! And we'll have baby animal tea parties, and, and...

Thanks Lin! Oh what fun huh? I will be contacting ARF for sure but must first fix the yard up a bit...

Leslie: They are, we do. Thank you..

Funny having you in the same time zone now Greer, just saw your comment on the cafe, I have to agree about those bike seats ....
I hope you get some hairy cuddles soon, you do feel kind of lost without a pet around, I feel for you so much, even if I stay away a night I miss my pair.

Must be nice to have the company even if it can't be permanent. Lovely photos of them.

Such tenderness captured in the first 2 photographs of your lovely boys.
